a flower child in dark times

I was talking to a friend today about some artist woes, the attempt to sustain art in a world that demands you to play by its rules, he simply said to me,

‘Dude I hear you. You are an artist making his way in a world that batters you. This is a storm now bro. Its gonna take time. You are confronted with a meaningless reality. Society tries to pound meaning into it for us. But resist bro! Make your own meaning. Im here as buddy.’

To this hälts replies Mahaloness, and a deep soulful thank you, carry on!

The following is a collection of hälts hybrid art, minimotion and soundscapes all made by hälts or at least composed by hälts because let’s face it we all influence each other, inspire each other and push each other, this is what makes life great rather than headlines news telling us it isn’t.

hälts in mural

This is a new minimotion by hälts featuring footage from his last mural project  ‘creator’ along with some fun animations paired nicely with a hälts original soundtrack, powered by Mahaloness. The hummingbird footage is from a recent trip to BC where hälts also discovered a new talent he never knew he had, path making, which he has shared a little bit in recent posts and will most likely follow up on in future posts. Until the next my friends be well and enjoy this hälts special presentation. Thank you

many lessons

Life brings many lessons, some take time to learn, don’t be too hard on yourself, patience is your friend. It is easy to feel that everything must get done now….a sense of urgeny….this can also overwhelm, this too will pass, it will be okay, be easy on yourself, sending love to all of you out there who get these words, be well.

Doing well

Whatever you are doing, keep doing it, do it well and from the heart, balanced with mind. Do it consciously, work at it, be sharp, courageous, get it out there, one word, one mark one frame at a time. Be true to yourself for when you are in Mahaloness there is no such thing as wasting time.
