in the current

The sun is shining and hälts finds himself in the current of artistic process. The harvest time has been fruitful as hälts has been painting live at Calgary New Age Books and Crystals. It has been a real pleasure to share the creative process with friends and strangers alike providing hälts with new perspectives, as viewers share their thoughts and provide new insights into the subject of art, and this wonderful life. The joy of painting is as much about the journey as it is the destination, inspiration is a two way street, this is Mahaloness way.

In this lifetime hälts has made many marks, and in this lifetime he will make many more, he make them count, make them resonate, make them sing, make them gentle, make them vibrant, make them communicate the heart, mind and spirit and what it is to be human, freedom .

montane mahaloness

As spring springs, so to does Mahaloness find clarity in the montane, specifically the East Kootaney of British Columbia. It falls within an area referred to as the montane cordillera ecozone (including south central BC and SW Alberta, Canada). Here you can encounter a diverse range of geographical splendor, plant life, bird life and things that are fuzzy. The air is clean, and the sky a crisp cobalt blue. Here water flows as the snow melts, replenishing the river systems, carrying their cargo to far away shores. It is also a time well spent with the older generations, although worlds apart, nature brings us together without pretense.
fotoMahaloness – so here we go, from a poppies transformation to a nature walk in the BC Rockies, where streams bubble, providing a vital and universal ingredient to the all life on this planet.

and when hiking drink plenty of water and be mindful when you are in the mountains, there are lots of big fuzzy things and stuff you wouldn’t want to tangle with despite what television shows, or movies depict, it is beautiful country with the real possibility of showing no mercy, there’s plenty of good books, outdoor programs and online resources to learn more about Canadian back country hiking and the Rocky Mountains. I also recommend Ben Gadd, Naturalist link to Ben Gadd’s website
