the sky above

Not so long ago I was having a hard time in life and I found some myself spiralling helplessly into the ground…. so I thought. So, I decided to do something about it. My plan was head to BC to find some peace, spend time with Nature and asluck  would have it I would make a path for my parents who had been gifted a tonne of bricks and paver stones by a friendly neighbour who didn’t have any use for them. So I set off on my journey, I had no previous path making experience, thankfully YouTube had some good tips, but like everything in life the best way to learn is to just do it, so I did. I had a lot of help along the way, including a Viking friend who reminded me to laugh and taught me the art of the canoe,  free therapy one might say. At any rate life is good at the moment, and it’ll be ok.

far and close

There is moment after moment of happiness available to us, sometimes you have to travel far and wide, while sometimes you just have to stick your face in a flower.

moments of in and out of creative space. Flowers are from Agent R’s garden and the hibiscus is an archive from a Maui sojourn. The sand art was made at the cove on Maui c.2012 and the wave is Ho’okipa, one of my favorite places on Mother Earth. Psychedelic sky courtesy of modern technology and some dang fine puffy white clouds floating in the sky one day.

The weather

The weather rolls through daily, one day 39 degrees Celsius, thats just over 100 Fahrenheit (symbol °F). Other days cold cloud banks linger, threatening every moment to come spoil my fun, although thats not really how I see it, I love to be aware of the weather and when thunder rolls following the hot flash of a lightening bolt, it is time to take shelter, although storm painting does seem to resinate with me, the rush is quite something, it is not recommended that anyone try to actually paint in a tornado for instance, this would be quite insane.
