I do make wearable art, its been a thing I do since 2003. Living in a world that largely relies on mass production, I get a lot of joy out of the fact that there are approximately 150 of my original hand painted items around the globe that people enjoy, some who I have met personally and others who I never met. The imagery changes from item to item, some are custom while others are of my own imagination. It is yet another way I have chosen to get my art out into the world, other than just a gallery or that kind of thing. The technique is similar to my regular paintings, although it does have some similarities to tattooing as I have to really work the pigment dependong on the fabric or surface. Each item does take time and quite a bit of patience to make, quality over quantity, using largely recycled clothing items, reducing the human footprint on our Earth, if only in a small amount, big over time.
