Can we please try and keep our rivers clean. Pollution is no solution. Progress for the sake of progress, bridges built over this gem that we also infect, and do remember there are also other beings whose existence is at stake.

Mahaloness is an art blog documenting the artistic path of Shane Haltman, also referred to as 'hälts'. He lives, breathes and makes art in Canada. Shane has takes an unconventional approach to his art often choosing unique projects, and sometimes it they find him. His work draws from life experience, literature, mythology, films, and music. His work has reached international audiences including helmet art for Canadian Winter Olympic Athlete Mimi Rahneva, who currently competes on the world stage in skeleton luge for Team Canada. Shane has experience working with the bereaved and helping people who are experiencing, or who have experienced trauma/loss in their lives. He also enjoys working with the youth and passing on his wisdom, usually in the form of art jams. Hälts is a full spectrum artist, living and breathing art, as a daily practice.
