Magical Egypt Stewardship

The theme for this blog is stewardship.

Wikipedia says ‘that stewardship is an ethic that embodies responsible planning and management of resources. The concept of stewardship has been applied in diverse realms, including with respect to environment, economics, health, property, information, and religion, and is linked to the concept of sustainability.’

Currently, I have been rewiring my brain watching a show based on the research of John Anthony West called, ‘Magical Egypt’. Here is a link to Episode 5 which provides fairly substantial insight into the blueprints our ancient ancestors left concerning the process of dying and the afterlife. Not always an easy subject to digest, and a part of life that even today is shrouded in a veil of mystery and speculation.Thankfully the ancient Egyptians left us with fairly impressive instructions and things to consider before that day comes. Thank you John Anthony West for your stewardship. Deepened thoughts before I get the brush back in my hand and channel some of that ancient Magical Egypt episode 5

Sometimes I think we as a species have lost our spiritual connection both to ourselves and to our home, Earth. If you wan to learn more about the planet and the environments we live in check out the french metal band Gojira, Jared Diamonds book ‘Collapse’ and the amazing film trilogy: Koyaanisqatsi (1982), Powaqqatsi (1988), and Naqoyqatsi (2002). Well this mahalonessfoto is all abut magical Earth, we are truly are blessed to be here, lets take care of her and be good stewards.

Mahaloness is an art blog documenting the inner spirit and artist journey of Shane Haltman, also referred to as 'hälts'. He lives, breathes and makes art in Canada. Hälts often travels to remote and exotic locations to produce community spirit murals and paintings using available materials. He is unconventional in his approach to art and chooses unique projects and sometimes they choose him. He is known for guerrilla lawn art shows, painting helmet art for a Canadian Olympic Athlete, and once painted a magic bus out of this world. Mostly he is human as anyone else, however very driven and disciplined with respect to his artistic practice. He has experience working with the bereaved and helping people who are experiencing, or who have experienced trauma in their lives. He also enjoys working with the youth and passing on his wisdom, usually in the form of art jams. Hälts is a full spectrum artist, living and breathing art, as a daily practice, in this mixed up beautiful world.
